Jenn, Eric and I took Jet on her first hike to Occaneechi Mountain. The trail is a 2.5 mile loop in Hillsborough. Little Jet did a great job and the weather was perfect. Finally, the heat of summer seems to be nearly over.
Jenn said we did such a good job that we'll bring Bernie too next time and see how we all do hiking together. (Bernie got to go on his own walk at Occaneechi the next day with Jenn and her friend Shannon and her dog Boogie). It was nice to get back to the car and have a big drink. The rest of the day was time to chill out.
